The mission of Jamaican Children's Heart Fund is to facilitate and address the urgency reflected in the increasing, rather than decreasing list of infants and children with congenital heart disease in Jamaica. By providing cost free pediatric open heart surgery to save the lives of these children. We pursue this mission through integrated, holistic commitment to: Transformational Development to be strong advocates for the cardiac care of indigent children with acquired or congenital heart disease in Jamaica. Emergency Relief determined persistence in reducing the mortality rate of indigent children with heart disease in Jamaica. Promotion of Early Detection that seeks to facilitate and encourage a process of early detection and treatment of heart disease in Jamaican children. Partnerships with global missions building organizations to advocate and contribute to the healthcare of children in need. Public Awareness that leads to informed understanding, giving and involvement. |
